No. 9 - Learning Networks
Web 2.0 is all about collaboration and no place is better for this than Ning. Ning allows users to create a network around any topic (School Improvement, Algebra, Skiing) and invite others to join in and contribute.
Niche networks are similar to social networks in that they have friends or members who contribute the content. They are different from social networks in that they are closed to invited members only and members usually can't invite others in.
Here are some examples:

Your task for Thing #9, is to become a member of our KPS Ning (if you have not already.) Here is the invitation link. Once your membership has been approved by the network administrator, please choose to do AT LEAST one of the following:
-Start a new forum discussion.
-Reply to an existing forum discussion.
-Add a blog post.
-Create a group.
-Join an existing group.
